Mason County Commissioners appoint 2 MCFD 12 Fire Commissioners.

May 24, 2024 the Mason County Commissioners interviewed and appointed 2 new MCFD 12 Fire Commissioners. Dave Persell and Trina Young were chosen to lead Matlock into recovery. The new Commissioners have the daunting task of choosing a 3rd Commissioner, cleaning house and repairing the damage done to our district. Hopefully the new Commissioners can convince an insurance agency to cover the district so that they can become an active fire department once again.
