Welcome to the Matlock Community website.
The community has been recently going through some possible fraud and other issues with our local fire department. In order to keep the community informed we felt it necessary to create a website that the community could visit to review the information others are gathering from the county and state records. Since we are not getting any information (public records request) from the fire department we have been needing to go through other means (state, county, and vendors) to obtain the information provided. We are also in the process of conducting a Recall on all 3 fire commissioners. The community, and some others outside of the community, have also started to donate to help retain a recall lawyer.
